A minor resident of Saratov is suspected of preparing for the murder of a deputy, according to the Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Saratov region. According to the IA "Region 64", we are talking about the Hero of Russia, deputy of the Saratov Regional Duma Alexander Yanklovich.

According to the investigation, in the period from December 2024 to January 2025, the 16-year-old young man "colluded with unidentified persons". After that, on their order, he armed himself with a hammer and went to the deputy's place of residence "for the purpose of killing him".

Yanklovich was not at home, the young man left, "intending to continue his actions by agreement after receiving information about the whereabouts of the man".

On January 11, he was detained by officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Saratov region. A criminal case was opened against him under Part 1 of Article 30, paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the issue of placing him in a pre-trial detention center is being resolved.

Alexander Yanklovich confirmed that the assassination attempt was being prepared against him. In the comment posted in the Telegram channel "Your heroes, Saratov! ZOV," he explained that neither he nor his relatives were injured, they are fine. On the day when the teenager tried to track him down with a hammer, no one was at home - the whole family was on duty in the temple.

"This operation was supervised from abroad by Ukrainian special services. [Performers] received money for this, the preparation was carried out carefully. They watched my house, my movements, my car for a long time. The method [of attack] was not chosen non-trivial - pepper spray and hammer," Yanklovich said.

Speaking about the possible motives of the assassination attempt, he noted that he has been on the "black list" of the Ukrainian website "Peacemaker" for more than two years.

"I'm sory about the guy whose brains were powdered by the curators. Take care of your children, raise them properly," Yanklovich said.

According to the lieutenant colonel, he has four children, the eldest son serves in the special forces and is now in a military operation.

Yanklovich addressed the detained teenager with the following words: "I forgive you, I have no complaints against you. But I have a lot of complaints about the enemies who powdered your brains, and I'll present them all."

What is known about the detainee.

According to the SHOT Telegram channel, 16-year-old Pavel D. from Saratov was detained.

"A boy from a single-parent family, a mother is constantly at work on one of the marketplaces, and there was simply no time for the child. The suspect had not previously passed criminal cases and was not registered with the PDN," the publication says.

According to SHOT, in January of this year, Pavel "was contacted by a man named MaksMaks and dusted the brains of a guy who was already negative about the SVO". During the dialogue, the curator proposed a plan to attack Yanklovich (allegedly, Pavel was already negative about the deputy - he did not like that he collected humanitarian aid for servicemen).

He picked up the future murder weapon himself, deciding that the hammer was the most frightening and revealing.
