Mistakes when losing weight
The first mistake is diets. Nowadays it is difficult to find a girl who has not been on a diet at least once. There are many diets: mono-diets, carbohydrate, fat-free, protein and others. They all seem to work, but at the expense of what? During a diet, your body experiences stress due to a lack of essential nutrients and vitamins, which can negatively affect your hair, skin and nails.
The second common mistake is too low a calorie intake in the daily diet. You can often see girls eating half an apple, a leaf of lettuce and a piece of chicken breast during the day. Such a calorie deficit leads to the body perceiving it as a threat and begins to slow down metabolism and immune reactions. Therefore, proper and balanced nutrition is the key to success.
The next mistake is getting carried away with detox programs. The cleansing properties of detox diets are often exaggerated and used for marketing purposes. Detoxification is a medical term associated with cleansing from poisons, such as heavy metals. Our digestive system copes with cleansing itself if you eat healthy food. Therefore, detox cocktails can be a snack, but not a replacement for a full meal.
Don't believe the myths that you can't eat after six in the evening. We all have different daily routines and sleep times. Lack of nutrition causes stress in the body, which begins to create reserves in the form of fat deposits. It is better to have your last meal 2-3 hours before bedtime and choose light protein products, such as cottage cheese or chicken breast.
Another mistake is choosing low-fat foods. Many people believe that fat in foods and fat calories are linked, and actively seek out zero-fat foods. However, low-fat foods can make you hungry and lead to excess calorie intake. Fats help you feel full, and the vitamins and minerals in foods are also fat-soluble, so you lose out on their benefits by eating only low-fat foods.
