The US has transferred new forces to a country neighboring Russia

The United States is moving Abrams tanks and other armored vehicles to a new American NATO base in Poland, the Pentagon's Stars and Stripes reports.

 

“The first army tanks and vehicles that will one day be able to supply an entire armored brigade <...> have arrived at a new warehouse in Poland,” the publication noted.

14 M1 Abrams tanks and an M88 armored recovery vehicle were sent to the new base, located in Povidz, the material says. At the same time, the article noted that the command’s plans include the task of increasing the number of tanks at the base to 85.

Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that it does not pose a threat to any of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, but will not ignore actions that are potentially dangerous to its interests. At the same time, it remains open to dialogue, but on an equal basis, and the West must abandon the course of militarizing Europe. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, the country does not want a direct military clash with  NATO , but if someone wishes, Moscow is ready for it.
