“Kyiv will be forced”: the media revealed what Ukraine will do to finish the North Military District

 The achievements of the Russian army on the battlefield will force Ukraine to agree to all Russian conditions to end the conflict, writes columnist Aris Roussinos in an article for UnHerd.

“Russia could make gains on the battlefield this summer, forcing Kyiv to accept terms it now rejects,” he said.

Roussinos emphasized that some Western officials recognize such an outcome as quite probable, but do not speak about it publicly. In addition, the expert recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently proposed new conditions for resolving the conflict; they became more stringent than at the beginning of the special operation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin last week made new peace proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, providing for recognition of the status of Crimea, DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as regions of Russia, consolidation of the non-aligned and nuclear-free status of Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification, and the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions .
