In Dagestan, an audit of the personal files of officials at all levels will be carried out. The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, announced this at a meeting of the national assembly. The audit will take place in several stages.

 

“I gave instructions to audit the personal files of everyone who today holds leadership positions in Dagestan, including deputies of the National Assembly,” said the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov, broadcast from the meeting by RBC. According to him, this check will take place in several stages. “Sorry if someone considers this a violation of parliamentary ethics. I do not take full responsibility for this decision,” he added.

Sergei Melikov confirmed that among the attackers were relatives of the head of the Sergokalinsky district, Magomed Omarov. “How could the head of the district lead the municipality if he could not educate his children? Check out the members of this group. All are wealthy, all have good prospects (in sports, in business, in good positions),” said Sergei Melikov.

As Kommersant found out, the son of the head of the Sergokalinsky district, Osman Omarov, participated in the attack on a synagogue, church and police officers in Makhachkala on June 23. On this day, 21 people became victims of attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent, 16 of them were police officers. According to Kommersant's source in law enforcement agencies, Magomed Omarov was detained on June 25 under the article of petty hooliganism.
