Fireworks on Victory Day: where and when to watch in Moscow

Acting Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered fireworks to be given in honor of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in Moscow, hero cities and cities where the headquarters of military districts are located.

 

According to TASS , fireworks will be organized in Moscow at 16 venues, including Victory Park, Sparrow Hills, the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center, Izmailovo and Kuzminki parks, Lianozov, Mitino and Zelenograd. You can watch the most spectacular launch, which will take place on Luzhnetskaya Embankment, from a new point - on the Sports Walk of Fame Square - or traditionally from the observation deck of Moscow State University on Vorobyovy Gory.

The Vorobyovy Gory metro station will be open from 16.00 to 20.30 for passengers. In connection with the launch of the fireworks, the Moscow cable car will also change its work schedule.
