The Ministry of Internal Affairs has identified the attacker on police officers in the Moscow region
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has identified the suspect who attacked police officers in Shchelkovo near Moscow, department representative Irina Volk reported on her Telegram channel.
Volk added that the police are taking measures to establish his whereabouts and detain him.
A representative of the department warned that the attacker may be armed, so “you should be careful not to enter into dialogue with him or make independent attempts to apprehend him.”
She also recalled that due to the attack on employees of the Shchelkovskoye Municipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region, a criminal case has been opened and is being investigated under the article “Encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer.”
The attack on the police took place on Sunday evening. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers carried out operational measures to detain a drug dealer who opened fire on them. One of the employees was killed on the spot, the second was hospitalized in intensive care.
