St. Petersburg courts decided to expel 418 illegal migrants from Russia

 


In the period from March 25 to March 29, 584 cases of administrative offenses in connection with ignoring migration legislation were sent to the courts of St. Petersburg.

More than 400 migrants living in the Northern capital will be deported from Russia. This was reported by the head of the joint press service of the city courts, Daria Lebedeva, in her Telegram channel.

“418 foreign citizens who violated migration laws will be forcibly expelled from Russia, or the results of the work of the past week,”  the  message says. 

Between March 25 and March 29, 2024, the city’s district courts received 584 cases of violation of migration laws. Of these, the courts reviewed 515.

The courts decided to fine 418 violators and deport them from Russia. Another 48 people are required to pay a fine and independently leave Russia within five days after the decision comes into force.
