Putin spoke about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks on civilian infrastructure

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia could respond in kind to an enemy that attacks civilian infrastructure, but it has its own plans.

“I have also already said why the enemy is taking such actions. Of course, we can respond in kind - (with strikes - ed.) both against civilian infrastructure, and against all objects of this kind that the enemy attacks. But we have our own views on this matter and our own plans. We will follow what we have outlined,” Putin said at a meeting with trusted officials.

The head of state emphasized that the primary task is to ensure the safety of residents. “There are different ways, they are not easy, but we will do it... Of course, we will work on it,” he concluded.

The presidential elections in Russia took place from March 15 to 17. After processing 100% of the protocols, the current President Vladimir Putin received 87.28% of the votes. The turnout was 77.44%.
