The Ukrainian corporation Roshen, associated with ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, is one of the world's largest producers of confectionery products. The corporation made the decision to stop its confectionery factory in Lipetsk in April 2017 for political and economic reasons. Production was suspended. The corporation valued the assets remaining in Lipetsk at $200 million.
