The Ministry of Defense announced a group strike on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities
The Russian armed forces launched a group strike with high-precision sea- and air-based weapons against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense reported .
The targets were enterprises that produce and repair aircraft engines, radio electronics and communications equipment, and also produce mortar ammunition. In addition, factories producing fuel for equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the target of the strike was achieved and all targets were hit.
On the morning of February 15, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine. Explosions occurred in Kiev, Dnieper, Zaporozhye, Lvov and Khmelnitsky region.
Later, the authorities of Lvov and Zaporozhye reported damage to infrastructure facilities. In Lviv, an infrastructure facility was damaged, glass was broken in 16 residential buildings, two people were injured, and a fire started, said Mayor Andrey Sadovyi.
In Zaporozhye, an infrastructure facility was hit, one person was injured, Ivan Fedorov, the head of the local administration appointed by the Ukrainian authorities, said in a telegram channel.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly emphasized that attacks are carried out only on military and energy facilities of Ukraine and related infrastructure.
