Orbakaite's concerts were canceled in Irkutsk, Bratsk and Krasnoyarsk
“The concert (in Irkutsk - editor's note) was cancelled. Those who bought tickets can return them by submitting an application electronically, if they bought tickets on the website, or contact the box office,” the City Entertainment Box Office company clarified.
The event was supposed to take place on March 12 at the Irkutsk Trud Sports Palace.
The Bratsk-Art theater and concert center in Bratsk also stated that the event was cancelled. It was supposed to take place on March 10.
Now the posters for both of the singer’s performances have been removed.
The interlocutors did not comment on the reasons for the cancellation of the events.
In Krasnoyarsk, Orbakaite was scheduled to perform at the Grand Hall Siberia at 19:00 (15:00 Moscow time) on the eve of International Women's Day on March 8.
“According to information from the organizers, yes (cancelled. - Ed.),” they told RIA Novosti at the Grand Hall Siberia concert hall.
The agency's interlocutor added that there is no information about the reasons for the cancellation.
In mid-January, after an appeal from social activists, the singer’s concert in Ulan-Ude, where she was supposed to perform on March 13 with the “Encore!” concert program, was canceled. A statement from the Buryat regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood” was distributed on social networks, which proposed not to hold the artist’s planned performance in the region.
