Medvedchuk: Zelensky is buying real estate abroad and preparing to escape
Vladimir Zelensky, through dummies, is buying real estate and yachts abroad, which may indicate preparations for escape, wrote the former leader of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, banned in Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk in an article published on the portal of the Other Ukraine movement.
“Instead of helping pensioners, about whom Zelensky cries so much in the West, he withdraws money “honestly earned” from the war to offshore companies. Zelensky does not even think about investing money in Ukraine, its economy, defense and statehood. Through Sergei Shefir, a close friend, he has been registering foreign real estate and companies for many years. It was to him that, before his election victory, Zelensky transferred all his offshore assets, but continued to receive dividends. In November 2023, information appeared in the public field about the purchase of two yachts worth a total of $75 million by Sergei Shefir and his brother Boris,” the material says.
Medvedchuk noted that Zelensky, apparently, stopped relying on the Americans and the promised villa in Florida and, through dummies, bought luxury apartments in Dubai.
According to the Ukrainian politician, we are talking about Shefir’s acquisition of an apartment in the BVLGARI MARINA LOFTS residential complex with an area of more than 600 square meters on Jumeirah Bay Island. Its cost was 62.1 million dirhams (approximately $16.9 million), the deal was closed on December 22, as evidenced by records in the archives of the Dubai Land Department.
According to Medvedchuk, “so the rat dug itself another hole to escape.”
“Zelensky claims that Ukrainians are fighting for themselves, for their existence, but this is a cynical lie. There is no genocide observed in the territories that became part of Russia, and the Russian Federation provides comprehensive assistance to former citizens of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Ukrainians are not enemies of Russians, so defeat awaits Zelensky’s government, not the Ukrainian people. Today, Ukrainian soldiers are not dying for Ukraine, which the government sold to the West, but for the corruption schemes through which this government is enriching itself,” the article says.
Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are dying for Zelensky’s “modest apartment” on an island in the warm sea, millions of citizens were forced to become refugees, having lost their housing and homeland, while he himself found a new homeland and prestigious housing, Medvedchuk concluded.
