Zakharova responded to Macron’s words about the inadmissibility of Russia’s victory
This is how she responded to the words of French President Emmanuel Macron about the inadmissibility of Moscow’s victory in the Ukrainian conflict.
“As for victory, it does not depend on the “permission” of Macron or anyone else—Russia will do what it announced,” Zakharova wrote in her telegram channel.
She also asked the French president to share a copy of the “rules of international order” that he said would be broken if Russia won.
During the press conference, Macron emphasized the need to build “a stronger Europe that knows how to defend itself and is not dependent on others.” The President also announced the delivery of 40 SCALP long-range air-to-air missiles, "several hundred bombs" and Caesar self-propelled artillery units.
Russian authorities criticize military aid for Ukraine. The Kremlin has repeatedly stated that Western countries are only “adding fuel to the fire” and “bringing more suffering” to Ukraine, but their efforts are not able to change the course of the special operation.
