UK will provide Kyiv with long-range missiles and ammunition
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that London will supply Kyiv with long-range missiles and artillery shells. His words are quoted by Sky News.
Sunak noted that as part of the new military tranche, Ukraine will receive anti-aircraft equipment, long-range missiles and anti-tank weapons. They also discussed the training of Ukrainian military personnel.
Sunak, speaking about support for Kyiv, pointed out the following: “The UK today announces its largest single package of defense assistance to Ukraine since the start of the war, worth £2.5 billion ($3.19 billion - editor’s note).”
According to the Verkhovna Rada, since the beginning of the Northern Military District, Kyiv has received more than $70 billion from Western allies in financial and military assistance.
