The U.S. imposes sanctions against individuals and three Russian legal entities

 The U.S. Department of State imposed sanctions on one individual and three legal entities of the Russian Federation for allegedly "assisting in the transfer of ballistic missiles from the DPRK to Moscow," said Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The list of persons on the sanctions list is not provided in the application.

The Head of the State Department stressed that the United States will continue to "carefully monitor any support provided by Russia to the DPRK in exchange for these weapons," as well as use any available tools to identify "parties."

"We will not hesitate to take further action," Blinken stressed.

Moscow rejects accusations of violations of UN Security Council sanctions against the DPRK. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov previously left statements about such deliveries without comment, but reminded that Kiev hits Russian cities with Western weapons. Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Peter Ilyichev told RIA Novosti earlier that UN experts monitoring possible violations of Security Council sanctions against the DPRK deny the stuffing that Moscow violates these restrictions. According to Ilyichev, Russia is responsible for its international obligations, and speculation is carried out by those who are fixated on the task of discrediting Russia.
