The owner of the cat thrown from the train confirmed the death of the animal

The owner of the cat Twix, Edgar Gaiffulin, confirmed the death of the animal, which was thrown out by a conductor on January 11 while parked in Kirov.

 

“Twix has been identified, this is our cat,” the owner wrote in the Telegram channel “Search for the cat Twix in Kirov,” adding that the death of the pet will not remain forgotten. “We will do everything to ensure that the perpetrators are punished,” Gaiffulin noted.

Volunteers who searched for the animal for several days also confirmed to RIA Novosti the death of the cat.

Earlier  , the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they would not initiate a criminal case for arbitrariness after the conductor of the Yekaterinburg-St. Petersburg train, while stopping in Kirov, threw out a cat named Twix, which had escaped from its owner, from the carriage.

The incident occurred on January 11, a resident of the Leningrad region contacted the duty station.

More than 300 volunteers searched for the cat for several days. People hung up notices, went door to door and combed the streets and the station.
