Journalists asked Dmitry Peskov about the health of Elvira Nabiullina.

 

    

Earlier, reports appeared that the head of the Central Bank was undergoing hospital treatment at the Central Clinical Hospital and therefore canceled her participation in Finance Day at VDNKh on January 16.

“I don’t think this question is appropriate at our conference call. This is personal information about your health,” Peskov said, noting that the Kremlin does not have “the ability and desire to comment on this.”

“In any case, we wish Elvira Sakhipzadovna health, strength and continued determination,” he added.

As reported, citing sources in medical circles, Nabiullina underwent a minor operation and will soon be able to return to her duties.
