The Kremlin said that Putin and Lukashenko will continue informal communication tomorrow

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, who took part in the commemorative events dedicated to the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad, will continue informal communication in the evening and will hold a bilateral meeting on Sunday, January 28, TASS reports.

"Yes. Both today and tomorrow," Peskov answered the question whether the informal heads of state will continue.

The Kremlin representative added that a bilateral meeting is scheduled for tomorrow.

Before that, Lukashenko's plane landed at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport, where the president arrived on a working visit. Some time later, in the company of his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin, he took part in the opening ceremony of the memorial in memory of the victims of Nazism during the Great Patriotic War.

Lukashenko also stated that Moscow and Minsk were open to any friendly steps.
