The amount of legal claims against Ivleeva may become a record in the practice of the Russian Federation

The total amount of claims against blogger Anastasia Ivleeva related to her New Year's party may set a record for the size of legal claims in Russia. RIA Novosti reports this.

 

There are known about two claims worth a billion rubles each demanding compensation for moral damage. In addition, Ivleeva has already been fined 100 thousand rubles.

Until now, the maximum demand was 333 million rubles against the singer Madonna in 2012 after a concert in St. Petersburg. Social activists accused her of promoting LGBT people (the movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) . Although the court then accepted the claim for consideration, it was ultimately rejected.
