The meat is very tasty, fragrant, in a rich sweet and sour sauce. It is prepared quickly, the result is pleasing.
Meat (Pork, veal) - 1.3 kg
Tomato (Can be replaced with 1 liter of tomato juice) - 1 kg
Onion (Medium) - 2 pcs.
Soy sauce - 50 ml
Honey (1-1.5 tablespoon to taste) - 1 tbsp.
Salt
Sweet paprika - 2 tsp.
Sweet red pepper - 1 tsp.
Dried tomatoes - 1 tsp.
Red hot pepper (Can be replaced with black pepper) - 0.2 tsp.
Vegetable oil (For roasting onions and meat) - 2 tbsp.
Garlic - 4 teeth.
Cut veal or pork, separate from the bones, swoaths, veins. You can cut into portions (up to 1 cm high) or, like me, into straws. The meat should be good (neck, loin, escalop, shoulder blade). Extinguishing kits from "Magnets" etc., alas, will not fit here.
Put the sliced meat on a heated and greased vegetable oil frying pan. You don't need to salt or pepper. The fire is maximum. Let a toast crust at the bottom and turn it over. It's better to do it in a few
receptions. If you cut the meat into portions, then fry in one layer.
Onions cut into half rings, fry until transparent in another frying pan. I fry everything at the same time.
If we cook from tomatoes, they need to be peeled and ground in puree. I cut it in half and grate it. The skin remains in the hand. Combine meat with onions in a frying pan with wide sides, add grated tomatoes or tomato juice, soy sauce, honey - 1 tablespoon. I have tomatoes, alas, autumn, not bright pink. If you have the same trouble, I recommend adding 50 grams of tomato paste to straighten the color of the gravy.
It boiled, reduce the fire to a minimum and stew for 40-50 minutes until the meat is ready under a closed lid. 10 minutes before cooking, pour out all the spices, chopped garlic. Try it with salt, sugar, pepper. We correct the dish to taste.
