Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated all students and teachers on Tatiana's Day.

On Tatyana’s day, the head of state met with students at Kant University.

“I congratulate you, all students, graduate students, teachers,” Putin said at the beginning of the meeting.

The Day of Russian Students (Tatyana's Day) is celebrated on January 25, it was on this day that the first Russian university, Moscow University, was founded in 1755. And in 1791, also on January 25, the house church was consecrated in his presence - in the name of the holy martyr Tatiana. Thus, the ancient Roman martyr became the patroness of Russian students and higher education.
