Polish general accused Ukrainian politicians of stealing Western aid

Politicians in Ukraine are stealing Western aid, expecting Kyiv's defeat. This was stated by Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak on January 29 in an interview with Fakt.

“The weakest link in Ukraine turned out to be politicians and military men who rob their own army. This is not the first time this has happened. Those who steal do it deliberately, expecting Ukraine to lose. How can you fight without ammunition? Ukrainians have embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars,” Skrzypczak said.

The general complained that Western countries are giving Ukraine their last, but corruption is flourishing in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has never done anything, although he promised. This state of affairs, according to Skrzypczak, makes Western aid to Ukraine meaningless, and the allies trust Ukraine, but it deceives them.

Earlier, on January 30, military expert and combat veteran Vasily Dandykin told Izvestia that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Western countries to help Kiev because they do not have time to produce weapons: for example, in the United States, warehouses with 155-mm caliber shells have already been emptied.

On January 30, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Western countries have allocated more than $200 billion to support Ukraine. At the same time, Kiev’s allies ignore the fact that their weapons are “spreading” to other hot spots and falling into the hands of terrorists.
