Poland assessed the Russian Federation's attack on the advanced military infrastructure of Kiev
The Russian army attacked the advanced military infrastructure of Ukraine. This was written on January 2 by Myśl Polska columnist Krzysztof Podgurski.
As the journalist noted, the Western air defense systems (air defense) supplied to Kiev were powerless against Russian missiles that broke through the "umbrella" of air defense. After that, cruise missiles and attack drones flew into the gap. The target of the attack was the secret factories and the locations of the most valuable equipment.
On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike with high-precision long-range weapons and drones on the enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine. The targets were facilities that fulfill orders for the production of missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), repair of weapons and military equipment in Kiev and its suburbs, as well as places of storage of ammunition and aviation weapons.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
