Orban named a person capable of ending the conflict in Ukraine
“If Donald Trump had been American president in February 2022, there would have been no war in Europe,” Orban expressed his opinion.
He believes that there is no other leader in the United States who could put pressure on Ukraine and end the conflict in military action.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky invited Trump to come to Kyiv, saying that he was frightened by the words of the former US president about resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in just 24 hours. Before that, he was rude to Trump with the phrase “think and then speak” in response to his words about a quick end to the conflict if he is re-elected.
Trump, who won the Republican primary in Iowa by a landslide, reiterated on Jan. 16 that he gets along well with Russian President Vladimir Putin and would quickly resolve the conflict in Ukraine if elected president. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Trump’s statements, noted that this is too complex a problem for such a simple solution.
