 Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported that one person was injured during repelling an air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the city. This happened as a result of a shrapnel hitting one of the residential buildings. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 10 Ukrainian missiles were shot down in the skies on the Crimean Peninsula. Earlier, an air raid warning was announced in the city.




“Glukhov was hit by shrapnel in his house. Preliminarily one casualty. Some of the fragments from air targets fell in the area of ​​Mostovaya Street, on the North Side, in the area of ​​Monastyrskoe Highway and Fedyukhin Heights. Rescue services have left for the scene,” Mr. Razvozhaev wrote in his Telegram channel.

As the governor explained, “several air targets” were shot down by air defense systems. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense , the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack Crimea and Sevastopol using aircraft guided missiles; 10 such missiles were shot down by air defense.

According to Mikhail Razvozhaev, the reflected attack was the most massive in recent times. According to his data, one of the downed missiles fell in the area of ​​a private sector and did not explode; specialists went there to check the information. “In the Pesochnaya Bay area, rocket fragments fell near residential buildings. Information about damage is being clarified. In Chernorechye, the downed part of a supposedly missile fell into the Chernaya River, there was no damage to the private sector, and no people were injured. There is no danger. A shell fragment fell on the street. General Zhidilov. There was no damage or casualties,” the mayor added.
