Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: "Akatia" of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western group destroyed a group of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Calculations of self-propelled artillery units "Acacia" of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Group of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction destroyed the infantry group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported to TASS by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
"In the Kupyansky direction, during the conduct of air reconnaissance, UAV operators discovered a secretive promotion of an infantry group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards Russian positions. According to the specified coordinates, the soldiers of the artillery battery of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the group of troops "West" with fire from self-propelled artillery units "Acacia" destroyed servicemen from the infantry group and two infantry fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the message reads.
It is specified that after the combat firing, the gunners changed their firing positions to spare ones to replenish the ammunition and exclude the return fire from the enemy.
"Our infantry guys were supported. My loader served shells like a machine gun, I only had time to shout what shell. Despite the fact that it was already frosty outside, it was very hot during combat work. It turned out that a group of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stretched along the minefield and tried to remove their own mines. Our "birds" found all the enemy fighters, and we began to cover them methodically. The enemy eventually did not pass," said the commander of the self-propelled howitzer "Acacia" with the call sign Zhorik.
