Manturov inspected the production of the Coalition-SV self-propelled guns under the state defense order
Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov inspected the progress of the state defense order at enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region, in particular, the production of Coalition-SV self-propelled artillery systems, according to a message on the government website.

Denis Manturov, together with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District Vladimir Yakushev and the First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexei Shmykov, visited industrial enterprises in the region: JSC Ural Transport Engineering Plant, JSC PA Ural Optical-Mechanical Plant named after Yalamov" (part of the Rostec Group of Companies) and JSC Ural Civil Aviation Plant (JSC UZGA, part of the Dynamics Group of Companies),” the statement says.
At Uraltransmash, Manturov became familiar with the production process of the Coalition-SV interspecific artillery complex, as well as a number of other self-propelled artillery systems. In addition, he was shown two- and three-section trams 71-421Ð "Dovlatov" and 71-431Ð "Dostoevsky", intended for St. Petersburg. To prevent road incidents, they are equipped with a domestic active safety driver assistance system based on artificial intelligence “Cognitive Pilot”.
At the Ural Optical-Mechanical Plant, the Deputy Prime Minister took part in the opening of a new building for automated machining and blank production.
He also visited the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, where Manturov was presented with the UTS-800 aircraft, which began flight tests in 2023, and the LMS-901 Baikal, which is currently undergoing certification tests.
“As Denis Manturov noted, the implementation of the state defense order is carried out at enterprises in accordance with the established schedule, which makes it possible to meet the needs of the Russian military in the zone of the special military operation in full... Following the results of the working trip, the active development of enterprises in the region and the growth in the volume of products they produce were noted, modernization of production facilities and improvement of working conditions for employees,” the Cabinet emphasized.
Earlier, Rostec reported that the newest howitzer “Coalition-SV” has passed state tests and is ready for mass production. According to the industrial director of the complex of conventional weapons, ammunition and special chemicals of the state corporation Bekhan Ozdoev, in fact it is a combat robot with a high level of automation. Compared to existing types of artillery weapons, the Coalition-SV has a reduced reaction time to any unscheduled targets.
