In Ukraine, they approved withdrawal from the agreement on supporting veterans of the Great Patriotic War

 The Ukrainian government has supported a bill that involves withdrawing from the agreement of the CIS countries on support and benefits for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. 

We are talking about an agreement establishing additional benefits and financial assistance for participants in the Great Patriotic War, wartime home front workers and widows of soldiers in connection with the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

As Melnichuk explained, the provisions of the agreement are already taken into account in the country’s legislation or have been implemented, and Ukraine has been trying to participate in the activities of the CIS as little as possible since 2014.

Previously, it was reported that the Ukrainian authorities intend to increase taxes and deprive individuals and legal entities of tax benefits in the country in order to increase budget revenues. It was clarified that Kyiv intends to return the progressive scale of taxation for individuals, and for legal entities - to abolish the simplified taxation system.
