In the Tula region, heat supply was limited to 372 apartment buildings
In the city of Novomoskovsk, Tula Region, heat supply was limited to more than 370 apartment buildings and some social facilities. The cause was an accident at the Novomoskovsk power plant.
“Currently, in 372 apartment buildings, 10 schools, 16 kindergartens and one hospital in the city, the coolant supply temperature has been reduced,” the press service of the regional government reported on VKontakte.
The material indicates that the situation is under the control of the governor of the Tula region, Alexei Dyumin. All actions are coordinated by the Minister of Housing and Communal Services Oleg Dyuchkov.
The Tula News portal writes that a 400-diameter pipe burst in Novomoskovsk. For a full repair, it is necessary to “completely drain the system and stop the operation of two central heating units.”
Since the beginning of January, residents of different regions have faced interruptions in energy supply and heat supply. The Kremlin attributed heating outages to frosts and deterioration of housing and communal services. On January 13, the head of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, reported that 50 thousand people remained without heating in the region.
