Erdogan's office denied the data on the U.S. requirement under the decree on Sweden's membership in NATO

The administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan denied allegations that the U.S. allegedly considered insufficient the publication of the head of state's decree approving Sweden's membership in NATO in the Official Gazette. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

"The United States of America is a depositary country in more than 200 multilateral agreements," the statement said.

As a result, the United States stores the "original" texts of treaties as a depository country, plus it contributes to their proper signing.

As the Public News Service previously wrote, Erdogan called on Israel to "immediately stop" attacks on the Gaza Strip after the interim decision of the International Court of Justice.

The court ruled on South Africa's claim regarding the alleged genocide in Gaza, obliging Israel to take measures to prevent genocide.
