Deripaska predicted when the conflict in Ukraine will end
MOSCOW, January 14 – RIA Novosti. The conflict in Ukraine will end no earlier than May 2025, Russian billionaire and businessman Oleg Deripaska said on Telegram, commenting on the start of the World Economic Forum in Davos tomorrow.
At the same time, Deripaska noted, referring to the organizers, that the main topic of the forum would be negotiations on peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.
“Also on the agenda is the conflict in the Gaza Strip: its resolution will be discussed by the United States together with the UAE, Qatar and Israel. The second important topic will be a discussion of the current economic situation against the backdrop of rising interest rates and rising debt,” he continued.
The businessman noted that a closed meeting of the heads of the Central Bank will take place at the forum in Davos; French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are scheduled to speak.
“We will closely monitor the key events of the forum,” he concluded.
The annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland will be held from January 15 to 19.
