A case of extremism was opened against the head of the Uzbek community
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case of extremism against the head of the Uzbek community “Vatandosh” Usman Baratov for publishing about eggs and special operation fighters, the department reported on the Telegram channel.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, previously ordered the initiation of a criminal case against Baratov, who published an offensive post on social networks about the participants in the special operation. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy said, commenting on the initiation of a criminal case, that national diasporas and communities must strictly follow Russian laws, in other cases an immediate and tough reaction from the state is necessary.
It is noted that investigators continue to establish the identities of other persons involved in the crime.
The day before, Baratov commented on the situation with the shortage of eggs, publishing on the Odnoklassniki social network an image with chickens and a caption insulting the participants of the SVO.
