What is the cost of a medical insurance policy in Moldova in 2024

 Those who need to purchase a compulsory health insurance policy can already do so.

The National Health Insurance Company (NMSK) has announced the start of sales of the medical insurance policy for 2024.

The amount of the contribution in a fixed amount for 2024 remained at the level of the current year - 12,636 lei. However, in the first three months of the year, persons obliged to insure individually continue to enjoy benefits:

1,014 lei will be paid by the owners of agricultural land;

1622 lei - individuals engaged in independent activities in the field of retail trade, except for trade in goods subject to excise duty;

2028 lei - founders of individual enterprises and farms, patent holders, tenants, lessees, individuals engaged in the procurement of crop and/or horticulture and/or plant products, foreign citizens with the right to temporary or permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova, other citizens who do not work and are not insured by the government;

4056 lei - persons practicing the profession of mediator, notary, lawyer, bailiff, forensic expert, translator and authorized administrator, who have received a certificate, license or permission in accordance with the procedure established by law, persons who independently practice the profession of a family doctor.
