The seriously ill star of "Enchanted" summed up the results of the year

 Despite the divorce and the complicated operation, Shannen Doherty believes in the best

Shannen Doherty and her mother Rosa held a podcast and voiced the main results of the year. She admitted that 2023 was not easy for her, because at the very beginning she underwent surgery to remove the tumor, took chemotherapy courses, and later broke up with her husband Kurt Isvarienko.

The star of the series "Enchanted" described these moments with the words "fear and pain." Nevertheless, she is pleased with the experience gained.

"This year I'm just incredibly grateful for being here, and we can spend time with people who are next to us, who do not leave, who love us unconditionally and who have the same beliefs, morals, standards and character," said Doherty.

Also, the 52-year-old actress intends to continue to fight cancer and is confident that she will be able to defeat the disease. The star believes that next year will be better.

"I think I'm actually starting to become the happiest version of myself. My heart has opened again, let the next year be beautiful," the actress concluded.

Recall that in 2015, doctors diagnosed Shannen Doherty with breast cancer. Two years later, thanks to treatment, the disease entered the stage of remission.

However, there was a relapse in 2020. The actress said that metastases went even to the brain and other organs. Despite her serious illness, she intends to fight for her life and believes that she will be able to cope with it.
