The chief police officer of Almaty appealed to the citizens

 The head of the DP of Almaty Arystangani Zapparov conducted a divorce of complex police forces on Astana Square. More than 3 thousand policemen went out to protect law and order in the city on New Year's Eve, Zakon.kz reports.

As noted in the press service of the department, the police of the metropolis has been transferred to an enhanced version of service.

"You know that the main task of the Kazakh police is to ensure the rule of law, public order, the safety of citizens, as well as to establish trusting relations with society. A police officer is a guarantor of state security and is always on guard of the peace of citizens. Each of you makes an invaluable contribution to the rule of law in the city and the fight against crime. We are proud of our colleagues who fulfill their duty to the Motherland with honor," Arystangani Zapparov said in his speech.

The number of patrols has been increased, service routes have been compacted, and 300 National Guard soldiers have been involved in foot patrols.
