Polish planes did not have time to shoot down a missile from Ukraine

 The Polish military raised the planes to intercept and shoot down the missile that flew from Ukraine, but did not have time, the operational commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic, General Maciej Klisch, told reporters.

Earlier, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that on Friday morning the unidentified object entered the country's airspace from Ukraine, it was accompanied by air defense, then disappeared from the radar.

"We sent forces, planes that were to intercept it and shoot it down if necessary. But the time she was on the territory of Poland, as well as the nature of the maneuvering, made it impossible. Therefore, the missile left the territory of Poland," said Klisch.

He specified that the missile was in Poland for about three minutes, deepening at a distance of about 40 kilometers.

"The rocket was tracked along the entire trajectory of its flight. In connection with the maneuvers it performed, and it left the airspace of Poland, I, as the operational commander, did not make decisions regarding this object," Klisch explained.

He noted that it was only one missile that "violated Polish airspace." "I want to say clearly: one missile," the general stressed.
