Nebenzia advised the West to wait for the "worst news" in Ukraine
Kiev's military plans have failed, and now the West should wait for the "worst news" from Ukraine," said Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia at a meeting of the Security Council of the organization on December 29.
"The military plans of the Kiev regime have suffered a total fiasco. Therefore, wait for the worst news for you and your Ukrainian proxy in the very near future," Nebenzia said.
The Russian Permanent Representative stressed that "bad news" will come regardless of whether new military assistance packages to Ukraine are approved, as the next arms supplies will only "draw the agony" of the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In addition, Vasily Nebenzia pointed out that Kiev, bypassing international humanitarian law, places air defense equipment in residential areas, and this topic should be discussed at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
