In Poland, the potential of the Russian MLRS "Vozrozhdenie" was assessed

The multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) "Revival" of Russian production will create huge problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the special operation zone. This is reported by the Polish edition of Interia.

"Probably, the "Renaissance" was created on the basis of accumulated combat experience. Now the system will not only spread mines, but also launch missiles. Thus, it will be a bi-caliber machine that combines a ground mining system and MLRS," the publication of December 28 noted.

The material added that thanks to the ability to conduct missile fire, "Revival" acquires greater firepower. MLRS is able to hit the Ukrainian army from a distant position when it is necessary to break through the minefields. That's why it can be called an effective weapon, the publication explained.

Earlier, on December 26, General Director of the State Corporation "Rostec" Sergey Chemezov said that Russia had started developing the latest bi-caliber MLRS "Vozrozhdenie", its serial production should begin in the first half of 2024. He noted that the new system is being created on the basis of the well-established remote mining system "Agrinship" in the zone of special military operation. According to him, the tests confirmed that the development is relevant.

The General Director explained that MLRS "Vozrozhdenie" can mine the area with 140 mm rockets and hit targets with 220 mm rockets.

Before that, on November 13, Chemezov noted during the Dubai Airshow-2023 exhibition that interest in Russian equipment, which has proven itself during a special military operation, has increased abroad.

In mid-October, Rostec Corporation sent a batch of remote mining engineering system "Agriement" to the Russian troops ahead of schedule. At that time, it was noted that the latest system with the help of programmable ammunition can cover the territory with mines in several football fields in a matter of minutes.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was made against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
