In Moscow, the administrator of two Telegram channels was sentenced to 14 years for treason
"By the court's verdict, a supporter of one of the left-wing radical movements, Eliseev was sentenced to 14 years in prison. The defendant pleaded guilty, concluded a pre-trial agreement on cooperation with the investigation," said court press secretary Irina Zhirnova. The case was considered in camera.
The agency's interlocutor also added that the sentence had not entered into force, the court's decision has not yet been appealed.
As the court established, Eliseev transferred the money to his curator through a cryptocurrency account. The funds received were used for the purchase of uniforms and weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, national battalions and extremist organizations, the FSB in the Lipetsk region reported earlier. Initially, the investigators initiated a case against him under the article on public justification of terrorism (Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), accusing the man of posting two publications of anti-war content. Later, FSB investigators toughened his accusation, adding a more severe article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "Treason" (Art. 275). Eliseev was detained at the end of last year and sent to a pre-trial detention center.
At the beginning of 2023, Felix Eliseev was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring.
