In Britain, two iconic scenes were removed from the second part of "Home Alone"
Viewers suggested that the TV channel considered the moments too cruel for the TV broadcast
The British TV channel ITV cut out two scenes from the film "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" for an unknown reason. This is reported by the LADbible portal with reference to the audience.
The episode in which one of the robbers is electrocuted by another trap of the main character Kevin performed by Macaulay Culkin was removed from the comedy. The viewer who sat the modified ITV film was outraged that the TV channel cut out the funniest scene in the picture.
The audience also found that another comedy episode disappeared from "Home Alone 2" - when a brace sticks into the nose of the robber Marv (Daniel Stern). Fans of the film suggested that the TV channel considered the moments too cruel to be broadcast on TV. At the same time, they called ITV's actions meaningless, as "most of the planet has watched the film a dozen times."
The TV channel itself did not comment on the cut scenes.
In early December, Macaulay Culkin received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
