Foreign Ministry: The U.S. wants to open a second front against Russia in the South Caucasus

 

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin said that the United States of America plans to open a "second front" against Russia in the South Caucasus. He also noted that this is completely inconsistent with the interests of people living in the region.

"Washington has not hidden for a long time that they consider the South Caucasus as a springboard for the opening of a "second front" against Russia," RIA Novosti quotes him.

Earlier, Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, reported on Moscow's readiness for the next restrictions of the European Union.
