Ferrari built a special version of 296 GTB, dedicated to the triumph of Schumacher and Barrichello

The Italian Ferrari Atelier division, specializing in the creation of custom cars, presented a special version of the Ferrari 296 GTB, dedicated to the triumph of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1 at the stage of the "Grand Prix of Hungary" in 2004. This is reported by Carbuzz.

The special version will be released in five copies for customers of the brand from Hungary. The car received a racing suspension and an original front spoiler, which creates increased downforce to use the car on the race track. The seats of the car are equipped with four-point seat belts and decorated with the outlines of the Hungaroring track, as well as Hungarian flags.

The special version of the 296 GTB with a hybrid power plant based on the 819 hp V6 engine is painted in the same combination of red and white colors as the Formula 1 cars of 2004. At the historic race in Hungary, Ferrari cars were piloted by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. They finished in the first and second positions and brought the team the sixth consecutive Constructors' Cup.
