At the end of the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg, Head of State Vladimir Putin held separate bilateral meetings with the leaders of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Kremlin official representative Dmitry Peskov announced this in a conversation with reporters.

“At the end of the informal summit, Putin, having seen off the guests, held separate bilateral meetings with the President of Kazakhstan and the President of Uzbekistan,” Peskov said.

Life reported that today, December 26, an informal meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries took place in St. Petersburg. Head of State Vladimir Putin invited colleagues from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to communicate not at the negotiating table, but during a tour of the palace and park ensembles of the city.
